About this tool
Bundle images of any common format into one PDF document, ordered exactly as you choose — all in the browser. Photographed receipts, scanned pages saved as images, and reference screenshots become a single professional file instead of a loose attachment pile.
How to Turn Images into a PDF
- 1
Add your images — JPG, PNG, and other common formats can mix freely in one document.
- 2
Order them the way the final document should read; each image becomes one page in that sequence.
- 3
Generate and download the PDF, assembled locally on your machine.
Why Build PDFs with Wrklyst
- Photos Stay Off the Network
- Receipts, IDs, and documents photographed on your phone are combined into a PDF without ever being uploaded.
- One File, One Story
- A single ordered PDF reads like a document; seven image attachments read like homework for the recipient.
- No Print-to-PDF Gymnastics
- Direct assembly replaces the awkward ritual of pasting images into a word processor just to export them.
Document Assembly Tips
- Photograph documents straight-on in even light — assembly can't fix a skewed, shadowed source.
- Rename image files in reading order before adding them; ordering is easier when filenames cooperate.
- Receipts for one expense report belong in one PDF, ordered by date — approvers notice.
- Check the finished PDF page by page before submitting; it's your last chance to catch a missing page.
Frequently asked questions
Why send a PDF instead of the images themselves?
Order and integrity. Email clients and chat apps scramble multi-attachment order, compress images unpredictably, and let individual files get lost in forwarding. A PDF fixes page order permanently, survives forwarding intact, and presents your material as one coherent document — which matters for expense claims and applications.
How are different image sizes and orientations handled?
Each image is placed on its own page, scaled to fit sensibly — a landscape photo and a portrait scan can coexist in one document without cropping. For the most uniform result, crop images to similar proportions beforehand; consistency in equals consistency out.
Does combining compress or degrade my images?
The images are embedded in the PDF substantially as they are — the assembly step isn't a quality bottleneck. File size follows directly from input size, so if the finished PDF is too heavy for an upload limit, compress the images first (our Image Compressor) or the PDF after (Compress PDF).
Can I add more images to the PDF later?
The straightforward path is keeping your source images and rebuilding — assembly takes seconds, so regeneration beats surgery. Alternatively, build the new images into their own PDF and join the two with our Merge PDF tool, which preserves both documents' pages unchanged.
