Processing
Most tools process your file right in your browser. A few PDF tools send it to our server briefly to do the job — either way, you'll see progress as it happens.
Download
Once it's done, download your result. If your file was processed on our server, it's deleted immediately afterward — it isn't kept around.

A small number of PDF tools (merge, split, compress, protect, unlock, PDF/A conversion) need to process your file on our server to do the job properly. That file is deleted immediately once processing finishes.
HTTPS Everywhere
Any data that does travel to our servers — account details, or a file for the PDF tools above — is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.
