At Wrklyst, we believe your data belongs to you. Our business model is built on providing high-quality tools, not on harvesting user data. We do not track your individual file contents or sell your information to third parties.

Processes are automated; no one views your files.
Auto-Deletion
Files sent to our servers are deleted automatically — immediately after processing, or when their share link expires.

How We Use Your Data
We NEVER: Sell, share, or distribute your personal data to third parties for marketing or profit.
Data Storage & Security
• Account details, emails, and feedback are stored in encrypted databases on secure servers
• Most tools (images, text, developer utilities) run entirely in your browser — those files never touch our servers
• A handful of PDF tools (merge, split, compress, protect, unlock, PDF/A conversion) process your file on our server to complete the operation; the file is deleted immediately once processing finishes
• Two features deliberately store a file for a limited time, and only when you choose them. Share in the PDF editor uploads the finished PDF so you can send someone a link; it is deleted automatically after 24 hours. File Transferstores the file you send until the link expires, after 72 hours. In both cases you can revoke the link earlier, which deletes the file immediately
• File Transfer encrypts your file in your browser before it is uploaded, and the decryption key travels in the link itself and is never sent to us. We hold data we are unable to read — including the file name, which is encrypted too. The direct consequence is that we cannot recover a transfer if you lose the link, and cannot scan its contents for malware
• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption

Unsubscribe from Emails
Click the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email to immediately opt out.
Account Deletion
Request deletion of your account and associated data at [email protected]. We'll process it within 30 days.
Data Access
If you have an account, download everything we hold on you anytime from your dashboard. You can also email us and we'll send it within 30 days.
Local Browser Data
Data processed in your browser is never transmitted to our servers. Clear your browser cache to delete it.
Third-Party Services
Vercel Analytics
Tracks anonymized, cookie-less usage patterns (page views, general location by region) to help us understand traffic. It does not use cookies or track you across other sites.
Google AdSense
We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, a Google-managed consent message appears before any ad personalization occurs. You can also opt out of personalized advertising anytime by visiting Google Ads Settings, or view how Google uses data from partner sites.
Email Providers
We use trusted email services to deliver newsletters. Your email is stored securely.
Hosting & Database (Vercel, Supabase)
The site is hosted on Vercel; accounts and application data are stored with Supabase. Both are SOC 2–audited infrastructure providers with their own privacy and security policies.
Cookies & Tracking
Wrklyst uses cookies for essential site functionality and to serve ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to personalize the ads you see based on your visits to this and other websites. Advertising cookies are never connected to the files you process, and we do not track file contents.
If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google Funding Choices shows a consent message before any ad-related cookie is set, letting you choose which purposes (ad personalization, storage, etc.) you consent to. Your choice is sent to Google and respected for future visits until you change it.
You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings or opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings. Wrklyst's core tools will still function normally.
